Last updated: 22 September 2026

Public website boundary: Do not submit payroll records, employee information, passwords or confidential organisational data through this website. Sensitive information is considered only within an authorised engagement and approved secure channel.

1. Who we are and the scope of this policy

Diginomy Technologies Limited (“DTL”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is a Nigerian data and technology company. This policy applies to personal information processed through this website, our public enquiry channels and related business communications.

For information collected directly through these channels, DTL acts as the data controller. Where DTL processes client data under a professional engagement, the respective roles, instructions and safeguards are defined in the engagement terms and any applicable data-processing agreement.

2. Information we may collect

  • Contact information: name, official email address, telephone number, organisation, role and communication preferences.
  • Enquiry information: the business question, service area, response to an indicative result and correspondence with DTL.
  • Assessment information: selections and indicative scores from the Payroll Data Health Check. The assessment is designed not to request payroll or employee records.
  • Technical information: IP address, device and browser details, security logs, cookie identifiers and basic website usage information where enabled.
  • Engagement information: professional, contractual and billing information where an enquiry develops into an authorised engagement.

We ask that you provide only information that is necessary and that you are authorised to share.

3. Why and how we use information

We process personal information only where there is an appropriate lawful basis, including consent, steps requested before entering a contract, performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, and legitimate interests that do not override your rights.

  • To receive, review and respond to enquiries.
  • To deliver requested assessments, services and professional communications.
  • To send an organisation and DTL a structured copy of an indicative result when the authorised contact requests further engagement.
  • To protect our website, systems, users and business from misuse, fraud and security threats.
  • To administer records, contracts, quality assurance and regulatory obligations.
  • To improve website usability and service design using proportionate information.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use the public Data Health Check to make legally binding or similarly significant automated decisions.

4. Disclosure, service providers and international transfers

Information may be shared only as reasonably necessary with authorised DTL personnel; contracted technology, hosting, email, security or professional-service providers; competent authorities where legally required; or another party with your direction or valid consent.

Providers are expected to process information under appropriate confidentiality, security and data-protection obligations. Where information is processed outside Nigeria, DTL will use an appropriate legal transfer mechanism and proportionate safeguards required by applicable law.

5. Retention and security

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably required for the purpose collected, legitimate business records, dispute management and legal or regulatory obligations. Retention periods vary by the nature of the information and engagement.

DTL applies proportionate administrative, organisational and technical safeguards, including access controls, authorised channels and confidentiality practices. No internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure; please use the approved channel communicated by DTL for any authorised sensitive exchange.

6. Your data-protection rights

Subject to applicable law and relevant exemptions, you may request to:

  • be informed about and obtain access to your personal information;
  • correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
  • erase information or restrict its processing;
  • object to certain processing;
  • withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing;
  • receive eligible information in a portable format; and
  • raise a concern about how your information is handled.

We may need to verify your identity and authority before completing a request. We will respond within the period required by applicable law.

Children

This website and DTL’s professional services are directed to organisations and authorised adult representatives. We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children through this website.

7. Contact, complaints and policy changes

To exercise a right, ask a privacy question or report a concern, use the DTL contact page and identify the matter as a privacy request. Please do not include sensitive records in the initial message.

You may also lodge a complaint with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission where applicable. We encourage you to contact DTL first so we can review the concern promptly.

We may update this policy to reflect changes in law, technology or our operations. The current version and revision date will remain available on this page.
